    How it Works

    Initial Assessment

STEP ONE: We begin by evaluating your challenges and opportunities by using a Framework Analysis that identifies significant strengths and weaknesses, as well as key personnel, goals, and objectives to articulate a manageable Work Plan and determine if you are eligible to even apply for a grant or alternative funding source.

FOUNTAINHEAD DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS, LLC is trustworthy and will honestly and reliably tell you if your project is potentially eligible for funding as well as the likelihood of acquiring funding as opposed to trying to sell you useless services.

STEP TWO: We develop suggested Action Steps; the practicality will depend upon your unique focus.

STEP THREE: We work with your team to initiate and execute the Action Steps.

    Going to Work for You

Making your funding dreams a reality is what we do.

GRANT AND FUNDING RESEARCH: One of the core services that FOUNTAINHEAD DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS, LLC offers its clients involves researching prospective grant and funding opportunities and then compiling this Information into a comprehensive Funding Assistance Research Report (FARR). This report will be specifically written just for you. Our research team begins the FARR development process by meeting with you where an intake and assessment of your funding needs, projects, and goals will take place. It is also during this meeting that we may discuss various options and strategies that can help you expand your eligibility for a greater volume of grants and funding sources. These approaches may entail the development of partnerships or unique business strategies. We will then use all of the Information discussed to date to create a comprehensive report of upcoming grant competitions, funding opportunities, tax credits, debt and loan forgiveness programs, community resources, and more, for which you would be most eligible to apply.

PROJECT PLANNING APPROACH: We aim to package your story so that it is appealing to funders. Working cooperatively with Clients, who are the subject matter experts on their project, we bring your ideas to life. Most Funding Opportunities, whether federal, state, or local sources of funding; require the same methodology. A methodology that we have refined and perfected over the years of providing grant writing, financing packages, and related services.

When written properly, all funding applications require a comprehensive description of the ‘project’ that will be implemented with funds as well as very specific goals, objectives, milestones, and activities that must be accomplished to ensure that project is a success. Getting to know the client’s programs, partners, goals, vision, and Community allows the firm to better articulate these elements in the funding proposal. The project planning session gives our firm the opportunity to do just that – meet with you and your staff and partners and get to know everything about what drives your organization and what makes your project fundable. During this session, the scope of your project and the grants and/or other financing options that you will be pursuing will be discussed in much greater depth so that clear action items and a detailed project plan can be developed and properly described in your funding proposal(s).

SOLID PROPOSALS: A solid proposal is one that relies on unbiased sources to justify proposed problems and solutions. With a heavy research focus, our proposals are known for being well-founded, in addition to being well-written. This is the result of the heavy emphasis placed on robust analysis that is applied in all services provided.

Writing a funding proposal is not a means to pitch an idea broadly. Funders make their objectives known by issuing requests for proposals. A client’s project objective must fit into the very specific and particular objectives of a funder. We work with companies at all stages of the proposal development process to project management (once the grant is received then the objectives must be fulfilled). We can also assist with the completion of quarterly and annual reports to Funders.

The reality is that grant funding targeted for small to large businesses is not overflowing from granting agencies. The limited funding that does exist is difficult to find and even more difficult to secure through the proposal writing process. After you have spent the time finding a grant that you are eligible to apply for, you then have to spend an even greater amount of time studying and carefully following the grant guidelines to formally request funding. If your proposal is sloppy, not proofread, or not exactly what the funder is looking for, it will not get funded. This is the reason professional grant and proposal writing is so important. Having FOUNTAINHEAD DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS, LLC write a grant and/or prepare a financing package for you will substantially raise your chances of securing an award.

FOUNTAINHEAD DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS, LLC’s services are designed to equip businesses with the tools and resources they need to pursue the most appropriate and relevant funding opportunities. We are a legitimate grant writing firm and will always tell you the truth about grants. We would never want to waste our time or your time applying for a grant that has no chance of award.

NOTE: When a business hires FOUNTAINHEAD DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS, LLC to prepare a letter, proposal, or application for a grant or other funding opportunity, there is a considerable amount of “EFFORT” that will still be required on the part of the business. It is necessary to designate one person in the business as the point person to work with the Consultant. Typical responsibilities of the business that must be accomplished in a timely manner will include the following:
